New direction...

This week I started my first painting of a Ukrainian dancer. Besides teaching in a dance studio close to home, every summer I am Artistic Director of a Ukrainian dance camp in upstate New York. I do plenty of graphic work for the camps - t-shirts, posters, logos, etc., but have never applied that part of my life to canvas. She appeared with the storks and I thought she was a "storyteller" - probably because I've been doing prep work for the camps. However, she has turned into a stork herself...so not sure what to title her yet.

I think she will make a fun coloring page for the campers too!

I think she's finished - maybe a few touches left!
