Oh, the possibilities waiting in a new box of pencils!
Over the years I've "collected" teacups with painted violets, carved cat figurines, alabaster eggs, dollhouse furniture, art books, and glass paperweights among other things. I've been fortunate to find uses if not good homes for those. Now, I am enamored of the range of brilliant hues of colored pencils I see, lined up in pretty tins, and crisp boxes. Here are some great ideas for keeping your pencil collections handy. I personally like the little fabric rolls, and I'm thinking I may be able to sew these myself!
